Ingredients

  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 tin baked beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 60 ml veg oil
  • ½ tsp chilli
  • 2 tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 320 g onion sliced
  • 2 tsp garlic

To Serve

  • 400 g rice

Instructions

  • Put sliced onions, garlic, chilli, and spices in a pan with the oil, and cook til soft.
  • Add tomatoes and cook for a few minutes, until the tomato juice has reduced down to a thicker sauce.
  • Add baked beans and drained kidney beans and cook for a few more minutes until it is cooked, hot throughout and well mixed.
  • Season to taste.
  • Serve with 100g rice per person.
