What changes can I make
If you are following meal plan 1, you don't have much room to change things. If you are picking and choosing recipes, there are many ways touring the changes.- Use any combinations of beans you fancy. Maybe use dried ones as they are so much cheaper than tinned ones.
- Add a good splodge of curry paste or curry powder. Pataks are particularly good and there are lots of different flavours
- Use ghee instead of oil to enrich the flavour
- Add some more vegetables, sliced carrots, chunks of sweet potato or pieces of potato for instance
