Swede Cloddies
substitute any firm vegetable for the swede in these cloddies
Ingredients
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 105 g onion finely chopped
- 55 ml vegetable oil
- 150 g swede grated
- 220 g self raising flour
- 90 ml water
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- oil to fry
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir the mixture together to form a dropping consistency.
- Allow to stand for a few minutes. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan, and on a low heat cook tablespoon sized splats of your mix.
- Makes 16 small patties. Make twice in the month.
